Describe how you actually do something — rambling, out of order, or pasted from a transcript — and this builds the prompt that turns it into a proper SOP. Or it gives you a blank SOP template, or an interview script where the AI asks you the questions one at a time until it has enough.
This decides how much you can assume. "A new hire on day three" and "my replacement" need different SOPs.
Ramble. Out of order is fine. Paste a transcript, a chat thread, an old checklist — anything. The prompt tells the model to structure it.
The most valuable part of any SOP, and the part everyone leaves out.
Prompt
Nothing leaves your browser. Internal process detail you paste here never touches a server.
How it works
- The prompt mode wraps your description in the structure, rules and flags an SOP needs.
- The interview mode is for when you cannot face writing the description: it asks, you answer, it writes the SOP at the end.
- Every mode includes the OPEN QUESTION instruction, which is what stops the model inventing your process.
- Tick the sections you want: RACI, escalation, glossary, failure modes, a Mermaid flowchart.
What it does not do
Every tool on this site says this plainly, because a tool that pretends to do more than it does costs you more than it saves.
- It builds the prompt. Take it to your model with your real description attached.
- It cannot know your systems, approvals or the person who has to sign off.
- An SOP nobody follows is a document problem, not a prompt problem.

Questions people ask
Yes, and it is the best input you can give it. The gaps in a transcript are the gaps in your process, and the OPEN QUESTION flags are the useful output. Can AI write an SOP from a recording?
