PromptifyLab is free to use. This page explains how it is funded, what our relationship is
with the AI companies whose models we test, and what that means for what you read here.
How this site is funded
At the time of writing, it is not. PromptifyLab has no advertising, no affiliate links, no
sponsored prompts and no paid placements. It costs very little to run because the tools need no
server.
If that changes — advertising, affiliate links, anything — this page will say so, clearly,
before it appears, and disclosure will appear on the pages it affects rather than only here.

Our relationship with AI companies
We have no relationship with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or any other AI company. We are not
paid by them, not affiliated with them, and not given early access. We pay for the subscriptions
we test on like anyone else.
That is why the model comparisons on this site are allowed to say unflattering things, and
why a prompt that only works on one model says so.
How AI is used on this site
Being straight about this, since it is a site about AI:
- The prompts are written by a person, tested by a person, and the failure
notes come from watching them fail. - The writing on pages is drafted and edited by a person, with AI used the
way this site recommends using it — structuring, editing, finding what is missing. - The tools contain no AI. They are rules.
- Nothing is published unread. Every claim on this site has been checked by
the person whose name is on it.
Accuracy
AI capabilities change quickly and some of what is written here will go out of date. Pages
carry a last-reviewed date for that reason. If you find something wrong,
tell us — corrections are made and dated rather than quietly removed.
